Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced on Tuesday that President Rodrigo Duerte approved the resumption of lottery games with a date 04.08.2020.

The resumption of Lotto is only valid for GCQ (general community quarantine) areas and modified (MGCQ). An agreement was made on the fact that PCSO assured that all operations will be resumed with safety health measures. By that, we mean physical distancing and wearing face masks.

Lotto games were suspended over 3 months ago due to the world pandemic of COVID-19. Initially, PCSO will only sell Lotto 6/42 and Megalotto 6/45 tickets. Their draws will follow the current draw schedule. The price of all tickets was rolled back to PHP 20 (previous price PHP 24).

Some players still own the tickets bought before PCSO Lotto suspension. Because of that PCSO started to make special catch-up draws on 20 July. These special draws will be continued for 15 days, two draws a day. Right after catch-up draws PCSO will resume normal draws along with schedule on August, 4th. Catch-up draws should be available on the official PCSO Facebook page and youtube channel.

All outlets should remain close until the 4th of August. After that date tickets may be sold and prizes claimed.

Additionally Instant Sweepstakes will be resumed on July 20, and Online Keno on 28 July.
