About STL
The Small Town Lottery (STL) was launched by PCSO in 2006 as a legal alternative to illegal gambling like jueteng, and as a way to raise funds for local charities. Money from STL sales is shared directly with local governments, police, and PCSO to support health and development projects. It also provides jobs for thousands of people, especially those affected by the anti-jueteng drive. STL started in select areas and is still being reviewed to make sure it is transparent and fair, with new agency applications on hold until the review is done. Equivalent National Games
Some of the nationwide games have similar format to the STL games listed above:
- STL Swer3 with draws three times a day is the same format as PCSO 3D Lotto (Swertres).
- STL S2 Lotto also with three daily draws is similar to PCSO 2D Lotto (EZ2).
