Covid-19 pandemic has hit hard the lotto and keno agents across the Philippines. Since March 17, 2020 PCSO suspended lottery operations nationwide. It was done as precautions to very fast worldwide coronavirus spread. It was also to protect lotto agents, clerks and the players.

The problem is that lotto agents are suffering due to this decision. Sales went down to zero, which means no additional revenue to them. If one was having only lotto and keno products for sale, he lost all revenue.

It was announced by PCSO Vice-Chair Royina M. Garma on Friday that 6,241 lotto and keno agents will receive financial assistance during this hard time. This help will provide PHP 18,723,000 from the PCSO budget. The grant of financial assistance was approved through PCSO Board Resolution 109 s. 2020 and is expected to help significantly the lottery clerks.

If you qualify for the help please coordinate with PCSO Branch Office in your area.
